What if I am trying to sell or repair my vacant property?

The bylaw includes flexibility for certain circumstances. Depending on the situation and the requirements of the bylaw, the annual monitoring fee may be deferred or reduced where an estate is being administered, substantial reconstruction is actively underway, or an owner can demonstrate genuine efforts to sell, lease, or redevelop the property. Owners must still keep the building secured and maintained.
